Provenly handles sensitive career data — resumes, references, and documents. Here’s how we protect it.
Access controls
Every record is protected by row-level security at the database layer. Your data is accessible to you, and to employers only when you choose to make your profile public. There is no shared backdoor.
Private document vault
Documents you upload are stored in private, owner-scoped storage and served only through short-lived expiring links. Other users cannot list or read your files.
Authentication
Sign-in is handled by a managed authentication provider. Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. We support social sign-in where enabled.
Infrastructure
Provenly runs on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We minimise the data we collect and the parties who can access it.
